THERAPEUTIC PHILOSOPHY
Yoga
Yoga is an ancient wisdom tradition that strives to unite the mind/body
and spirit through it’s “eight limbs, or branches.” Two of Yoga’s
branches are most commonly seen today; the practice of rhythmic
breathing or Pranayama and movement/stillness of specific postures or
Asana. These form the base of typical yoga classes.
In the clinical setting, I form an integration of Yoga’s wider underlying principles of breath, meditation, movement/stillness as part of your healing process.
